Clermont is the Orlando-side edge of Lake County, and it does not look like the rest of it. The land rolls, the lakes are everywhere, and homes here sell on views and water as much as on square footage. Those are the two things a ground-level photo struggles to show.

Most of Central Florida is flat, and Clermont is not. Sugarloaf Mountain and the ridge land around it give some neighborhoods real elevation and long views, and Lake Minneola sits right at the edge of downtown. A listing on a rise or at the water carries a premium here, but only when the photos prove it. Standing in the driveway, you cannot show a buyer that the back lawn drops toward a lake. A drone can.
